What is ZeroDisrupt?

Your heating system isn’t something most people plan for; it becomes urgent only when the boiler breaks, typically in the middle of winter. For years, the only option has been to replace your gas boiler. But in a climate where gas prices keep climbing, replacing your system like-for-like locks you into higher bills for years.

However, now there’s another option: Heat Geek's ZeroDisrupt system. This means you can now get a heat pump installed for the same cost as a
boiler, which is usually around £3,000. And because heat pumps are far more efficient, your monthly bills go down, too.

With ZeroDisrupt, every design is based on data from thousands of homes, refined with the knowledge of the UK’s best heating engineers, which leads to:

  • Smarter designs: no guesswork, no wasted upgrades

  • Better comfort: steady warmth, reliable hot water

  • High-quality installs: delivered by a trained Heat Geek engineer

This means the best heating system possible, at a price that makes sense.

FAQs

How can a heat pump cost the same as a gas boiler?

Heat Geek’s engineers have optimised every step - from surveying to design and installation, so you don’t pay for unnecessary upgrades or guesswork. Combined with the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) government grant and our ZeroDisrupt partnership, it means you can get a full heat pump install for roughly the same upfront cost as a boiler.

Do heat pumps work in cold UK weather?

Modern heat pumps are used in much colder countries like Norway and Sweden, where winter temperatures drop far below ours. The technology is proven, and our systems are designed specifically for UK homes to maintain consistent warmth and reliable hot water all year round.

Will a heat pump give me enough hot water for my household?

Every ZeroDisrupt installation requires a properly sized hot-water cylinder, whether that be a compatible existing one or a new one we install. Combined with a smart control setup, you will be sure to have plenty of hot water for daily use.

What is included in a ZeroDisrupt installation?

Every ZeroDisrupt project includes a full home survey and instant design. Based on your current system, we will recommend whether your home is suitable for a ZeroDisrupt installation, or if any further work relating to the pipework, radiators or hot water cylinder is required. Following this, you will have a professionally fitted heat pump system with a Heat Geek guarantee for performance and reliability.
